The Northside Consulting Group, Inc. was founded to address the ever changing needs of the fire service in the areas of apparatus design and emergency service training. Founded on the principle of excellence through experience, the group is composed of career and volunteer members of the emergency services field. We seek to deliver a qualitative product through time tested methods. The Northside Consulting Group, Inc. prides itself on delivering a top tier product while developing honest and long lasting relationships with our clients.

One of our areas of expertise is in apparatus design and specification for the fire service. Our unique approach to spec writing allows our writing process to be extremely transparent with our customers. This translates into a spec which produces accurate bids from manufactures. Resulting in the exact truck your department needs! Whether it is a ground up apparatus specification document for a new apparatus or a third party review of a current specification, the Northside Consulting Group has one objective; to make sure you have the right apparatus to help your member be effective and safe on the fireground.

Our other area of speciality is in New York State PESH training. More and more fire departments on Long Island are having to navigate PESH audits and play catch up with mandatory trainings. What many departments do not realize is often times online or offsite trainings do not meet the PESH standard. This is precisely why we founded the training division of the NSCG. Our PESH instructors have been teaching these courses for years and will design training classes around your department’s SOPs and policies. This gives your members the information they need to stay safe and keep their skills sharp. Does your department prefer to do guided online learning? We can draft new trainings for you or audit what you currently use to make sure you are covered. We also can manage and track your trainings using your existing website. Finally, we also provide consulting services that will review your best practices and policies to help you stay in compliance with the standards before or after a PESH audit.
